Borrowing

Borrowing eligibility is determined according to the patron category. Below is the table for the categories.

RENEWAL

Renewal can be done online through the borrowing record in the library user account or through the loan counter. Users can only renew online on an intermittent basis. Renewals are not allowed if another user has made a reservation for the same item. Online renewal can be done before the deadline.

RETURNING

Returning of the materials can be done at the Selfcheck Machine or by using the book drop.

** Materials can be borrowed and returned using self-service machines. Meanwhile, renewal of the loan period can be done online.

Merging SCOPUS ID

This service is to help researchers who have problems with Author ID (SCOPUS) such as having two or more IDs, missing articles and etc.

If you wish to merge your Scopus ID on your own please refer here:

If you wish to request a librarian to merge your id please follow these steps:

- Login at e-Publication USM with USM email and password (campusonline)
- Click on Merge ID at the menu (on your left hand-side)
- Click button New Request for Merge ID
- Insert main Scopus Author ID. The Author ID should be numbered only
- Click the button Add Author ID to insert the next Author ID
- Choose the main Author ID
- Click button Submit
