The Hamzah Sendut Library provides Carrel Room facilities for the use of Academic Staff and Advances Graduates to supporr research activities in a more conducive environment.

1. Rent per person for a month
   I) Shared Room PHS I and PHS 2 :
   - RM20.00/individual/month.
   II) PHS Individual Rooms·
   - RM40.00/individual/month
2. Late key return fine is RM10.00 & RM20.00 will be charged for damage/loss of keys.
3. Carrel room con only be used by registered users and it CANNOT be transferred and making duplicate keys is absolutely PROHIBITED.
4. Food and drinks are NOT ALLOWED to bring in.
5. Furniture or equipment CANNOT be removed or brought into the carrel room.
6. Users CANNOT keep and bring in books that have not been borrowed/not borrowed, as well as other electrical items other than laptops.
7. The Carrel Room Key must be returned at the end of the semester, failure to do so will result in the user being denied the right to access all Library facilities & services.
8. The library reserves the right to allocate any Carrel room to users or withdraw its use for maintenance purposes, projects and so on.
9. The use of the Carrel Room is subject to all Library regulations. Any violation of the established rules will cause the use of the Carrel Room to be revoked.
10. The Library IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for any loss, thelf and damage of personal items left in Carrel Room.
11. The Chief Librarian reserves the right to withdraw permission to use the Carrel Room at any time without notice.
