We are pleased to announce the opening of Makerspace@EngLib, which aims to foster innovation and creativity inside the university while also instilling the Maker Culture in students, school, and the general public.
✅Makerspace includes a variety of tools and equipment, including 3D printers, laser engravers, desktop PCs, and more. Makerspaces are areas or spaces where people come together to brainstorm, collaborate, make, and create.
✅In a makerspace, those involved focus on sharing resources, skills, and ideas, and they frequently collaborate on DIY projects. Makerspace@EngLib aims to empower everyone to make the things they have envisioned in creative ways. It provides endless learning opportunities.
✔️All USM students and lecturers have access to Makerspace@EngLib and are required to register and book the facilities here.
✔️The maximum users access to the Makerspace@EngLib is 10 makers at a time.
✔️Makerspace@EngLib is available from 9:00 am to 4.30 p.m. weekdays. We are closed on weekends and public holidays.
✔️Access to all the facilities at Makerspace@EngLib. For 3D printers and laser engraver, it is necessary to attend our training program before use.
